About Me and My Practice

I am committed to providing a safe place where my clients, knowing they are valued and heard, can work toward healing their relationships with each other. This is what has motivated me to start this small private practice. I have training and qualifications as a Social Worker and have also completed much post graduate training in counselling over many years. In the course of my career, I have worked in both government and non government positions and in settings as diverse as sexual health, palliative care, adoption, an inner city community centre and a generalist counselling service.

Whereas I mainly work with couples, I am happy to offer counselling around any kind of relationship as long as both (or all) people wanting to work on the relationship are willing and able to come along in person to each session. So this includes, for instance, romantic partners, friends, siblings, parents and their adult children to name a few possibilities.

Whoever you are, if you are keen to bring greater health to a relationship, you are very welcome to call me and have a conversation where hopefully we can work out together whether coming along for some counselling may be helpful for you.
